Emrah Yalcin has recently completed his doctoral studies in the Department of Media Studies at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. His research interests include film and television studies, cultural and literary studies, diaspora studies and German studies. He is currently working on a monograph on mafia genre and representation of violence and justice in German audio-visual culture.
