Dr. Christian Ebner was born on February, 1st 1984 in Mönchengladbach, Germany. From 2003 to 2008 he studied chemistry at the University of Basel, Switzerland, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in 2006 and his Master of Science in 2008 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. A. Pfaltz. From 2008 to 2012 he joined the research group of Prof. Dr. A. Pfaltz at the University of Basel, Switzerland, as PhD student working in the field of methodology development in asymmetric catalysis. Having received his PhD in 2012 he then joined the research group of Prof. Dr. P. Wender at Stanford University, CA, USA, as post-doctoral associate.
