Hejuan Liu- was born on 30th, Dec 1983 in Hebei Province of China. She enrolledandcompletedfor doctoral degree of petroleum engineeringwhen she lived in Germany during 2010-2014. She is married and has a boy and working in a University in China. She likes reading and writing since she was very young. She likes to do research work and to explore new things. “There is no royal road to science, and only those who do not dread the fatiguing climb of its steep paths have a chance of gaining its luminous summits” by Karl Max is her motto, encouraging her to make progress in science work. “Numerical study of physic-chemical interactions for CO2 sequestration and geothermal energy utilization in the Ordos Basin, China” is her first book about multiphase,multi-component fluid flow in porous media, demonstrating complex changes in different physical and chemical fields caused by CO2 sequestration and CO2 aided geothermal production.
