Katrin Schmelz – Autorenprofil

Dr. Katrin Schmelz obtained her doctoral degree in economics from the University of Jena in 2012. After her degree in psychology (“Diplom”) at the University of Jena in 2003, she worked as a clinical psychologist. From 2007 to 2011 she was a research fellow at the International Max Planck Research School on Adapting Behavior in a Fundamentally Uncertain World (IMPRS-Uncertainty) at the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Jena. In 2011 she joined the group of Prof. Dr. Urs Fischbacher at the Thurgau Institute of Economics at the University of Konstanz where she is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher. Her dissertation has been awarded the Heinz Sauermann prize in experimental economics.
