EMC has become a major concern in the development of electronic devices due to high comfort and safety standards. In the scope of EMC engineering, the simulation has grown in the last years to an indispensable tool as it allows reducing development time and resources. This interest has increased the demand on model accuracy which ramped up model complexity and computation time. Improving the underlying computational methods is thus of great importance for a better efficiency of EMC simulation.
Model order reduction (MOR) has been implemented in this work in a concept from EMC computation (prediction) through EMC analysis to EMC optimization for a better integration of EMC simulation in the development process of electronic components. The efficiency of this concept has been showed on real-life problems.
