chains in developing countries. The study uses data
from a household survey of vegetable producers in Kenya and applies
innovative analytical methods to evaluate impacts of farmer participation
in high-value food chains on farm productivity and technical effi ciency.
Impacts of supply chain modernization on household income and poverty as
well as impacts on agricultural labor markets are also analyzed.
