Dania Kendziora – Author profile

Dania Marile Kendziora was born in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. After receiving the Abitur from Leibniz-Gymnasium Gelsenkirchen in 2003 she moved on to study Chemical Biology at TU Dortmund. The bachelor thesis with the titel “Synthesis of RA-VII analogues” was supervised by Prof. Dr. Arndt at the MPI Dortmund. The master degree was received after a thesis called “Synthesis and immobilization of protein-oligonukleotide bioconjugates via protein splicing in trans” in the group of Prof. Dr. Mootz at the TU Dortmund in 2008. Her phD work was done at the Karlsruher Institut of Technology in the Young Investigator group of Dr. Fruk. The thesis with the titel “Biofunktionalisation of metallic nanoparticles for the development of biosensors” was accepted in 2013.
