Mr. Muhammad Tariq was born on March 10, 1980 Farooka Sargodha (Punjab), Pakistan. He completed his BSc. (Hons) Animal Husbandry in 2004 and was awarded ‘SILVER MEDAL’. He accomplished his MSc. (Hons) in Livestock Management in 2006 from Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan and PhD degree in 2013 from Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences/Group Animal Husbandry in the Tropics and Subtropics from University of Kassel, Witzenhausen, Germany. Currently he is working in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Department of Livestock Management, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. The author has published 12 articles in National and International peer reviewed journals and also published 3 books. His primary research interests include resource use effi ciency in peri-urban livestock and dairy production systems, buffalo production, feeding management and dairy production as an enterprise.
