Hideharu Umehara – Author profile

Dr. phil. Hideharu Umehara ist Visiting Researcher of Keio University (Tokyo/Japan). He worked in the Institute for History of Medicine at the University of Düsseldorf from 2002 to 2013 as a Visiting Researcher. Here he got a doctor’s degree of philosophy (Modern German History) in 2010.
Current areas of interest are: Public Health in Germany in the 19th and 20th Century; Modern German History; History of Medicine; History of Science.
