Karel Kostev – Author profile

Prof. Dr. Karel Kostev is a senior manager in the epidemiology department of QuintilesIMS.. He studied sociology and statistics at the University of Freiburg, holds a doctorate in medical sciences from the University of Leipzig and a postdoctoral lecture qualification from the University of Marburg. He is author or co-author of more than 200 papers. His main research topics include evidence-based medicine and epidemiology of chronic diseases. He also teaches epidemiology and medical sciences at the University Clinic of Marburg and the University of Applied Sciences in Idstein, Germany.
