Alf Assenkamp – Author profile

Dipl.-Phys. Alf Assenkamp hat an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität in Münster studiert. Seine berufliche Laufbahn startete er bei der RWE Power AG. Von dort wechselte er zur TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH, bei der er gegenwärtig als Teamleiter Power Grid Services tätig ist. Seine Spezialgebiete sind die Analyse elektrischer Maschinen, sowie die Netzintegration von Energieerzeugungseinheiten und -anlagen. Seine Dissertation „Methods to Assess the Rate of Change of Frequency Withstand Capability of Large Power Plants“ verfasste er als externer Doktorand der Helmut Schmidt Universität / Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg am Lehrstuhl für Elektrische Maschinen und Antriebe.
