Sexualised discrimination and violence is an everyday reality at universities
It occurs in the everyday study and working lives of women at universities, has many different facets and not infrequently leads to the abandonment of an academic career.
For female students and staff, sexualised assaults represent a particular burden, as they are frequently in specific relationships of dependency with teaching staff and superiors.

Sexualised discrimination and violence continues to be a taboo subject in our society, and universities are no exception in this respect.
The present book pursues the aim of giving the topic greater consideration at universities and in the sphere of higher education policy and of contributing to raising awareness of the topic and breaking the taboo surrounding it.
