Description
Als universelle Grundelemente gelten dem Autor die Kategorien ZEIT, RAUM, SYMBOL und REGEL, theoretisch und empirisch vorgestellt. Begriffe wie Synchronisation, Beschleunigung sind nachrangig. Als SYMBOL gilt hier die geteilte, das heißt nachvollziehbare Sinngebung. Die Kunst des Sehens, wie die Bildzeit und Bildwissenschaft, zeigt sich nicht länger vorrangig als Raumkunst (vgl. Lessing), sondern als Zeitkunst. Anders als beim Philosophen Ernst Cassirer ist das Symbol ein Bedeutungsträger des Betrachters, Autors oder Künstlers von Bild und Text. Symbole sind austauschbare Ausdrucksformen entsprechend einem individuellen Sinnstreben.
