On 16 and 17 June 2021, the ADAC Stiftung’s “Symposium on Accident Research and Road Safety” (UFO 2021) took place as an online event. The focus topic of the symposium, which is held every two years, was road safety of vulnerable road users in 2021.
These conference proceedings contain the full-length versions of the contributions selected by an expert advisory board. In terms of content, they deal with the areas relevant to improving road safety: human beings, vehicles and infrastructure.
The symposium and these proceedings give experts and early-career researchers the opportunity to present their research to the professional community and to inform themselves.
