This transfer handbook describes joint organisational development in geriatric care within the framework of a pilot project. Good geriatric work requires cooperation between a wide range of professions and departments. The many interfaces build on a jointly developed process chain, in which digitalised communication processes play an important role. The first chapter presents the authors’ own social science surveys. This is followed by technological studies on digitalisation in geriatric care and guidance for practical work. The methodological process of organisational development within a network is set out in the following chapter, including the Kanban process of decentralised collaboration, an information and communication portal, and trauma-sensitive quality criteria. The concluding chapter focuses on staff development. It presents the results of innovation workshops on digital communication, visualises 15 future scenarios and describes their implementation.
