“Living Youth in Rural Areas – Shaping an Analogue and Digital Future (Jul@)” – this is the programmatic title of the research project in which we sought to support the digital and analogue participation of young people through participatory activities and to make rural areas more sustainable for the future. The results of the research project are presented in this volume.
The project took place under pandemic conditions, and accordingly many ideas could not be realised at all or not in the manner planned – but new ideas were born instead. In this sense, the project was a real-world laboratory operating under the conditions of its time. This repeatedly posed challenges not only for the project team but also for all other participants.
