In this work the integrated Oxyfuel process with circulating fluidised bed combustion and its achievable efficiency will be examined. The analyses are carried out for full-load operation using a simulation model of the overall process, which is developed in this work. Beside the optimisation of process design this work is focused on the changing structure of auxiliary demand caused by a reduced flue gas recirculation ratio. The definition of characteristic operating figures enables an objective comparison of Oxyfuel processes with circulating fluidised bed combustion and pulverised coal-fired system based on comparable boundary conditions.
