Contracts of Publication - Simple and Flexible
The publisher on your side – fair and transparent with a comprehensive contract
In order for us to abide German publishing law, reproduce and distribute your research in a controlled manner and protect your intellectual property as an author, you can find our contracts of publication here. In the special case that your university also claims publication rights, please choose contract of publication number 2.
The contracts are template contracts and naturally we would be happy to adapt them according to your needs in personal dialogue with you.
By the Geman Publishing Act (deutschen Verlagsgesetz (VerlG)) we are, as a publisher obligated to reproduce and distribute your research in a controlled manner and to protect your, the author’s copyright. However, promoting young scientists and authors is not only our duty as a publisher, but also our ethical and moral incentive. We have laid down this premise in our publishing contract in order to secure your right as author and author and to present our actions as a scientific publisher transparently

As a scientific publishing house, we place great emphasis on protecting your work as your intellectual property – therefore, the rights and authorship will remain with you, the author. Our task as a publisher in accordance with the German Publishing Act is to publish your work on the basis of your publishing contract with us and to disseminate it effectively and target group oriented. In addition to legal questions about the print version of your publication, your right as the author of the corresponding eBook – if desired – as part of your intellectual work is regulated in the contract.
