New scientific findings can only make a contribution to research and also to society if it is ensured that they can be found and become part of the discourse. With the interdisciplinary series, Cuvillier Verlag therefore aims to bring together bundled knowledge on a single platform and make it available to all interested parties, as well as facilitating an easy exchange between the contributors to the series. Ensuring the highest international visibility, rapid retrieval and thus citability is a cornerstone of our publishing activities and a guarantee for the scientific reputation of all researchers involved.
After exchanges with Dr. Thorsten Kölzow, AUDI AG, Coordinator Science Cooperation, and a large number of discussion rounds with Prof. Dr. Franz Pischinger, RWTH Aachen, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Peter Birke, University of Stuttgart, and other leading scientists, the need for an interdisciplinary, cross-university series “Mobilität – Zukunft” arose. We were able to win Prof. Dr.-Ing. Horst Brunner, TU Dresden, as editor for this series.
Holistic thinking and the topicality and relevance of the subject moved Prof. Birke to establish the series “Energie und Nachhaltigkeit” as a significant second pillar in our house as editor. In the area of bachelor and master theses, good basic research is also carried out in part that is not made visible. That is why we have added the top bachelor and master volumes to the series.
The third pillar – a series on the topic of “Künstliche Intelligenz” in mobility – will soon complete the overall package.
